Beer Drinking Survey

This survey was created using the “WP-Polls” plugin. This Poll/Survey plugin offers the most options of the three we have evaluated. It provides options to add as many answers as you would like, and it’s the only one that has an option to choose multiple answers to one question. It also adds a simple button to the Page/Post editing interface for adding a poll to the post. So long as you know the ID number of your poll(s), you can easily add the code needed for the poll with a simple click.

Each question is considered a separate “Poll”, but multiple polls may be combined on one page to make up a complete survey. Each question then has it’s own “vote” button, and the results are rendered immediately on the user page with a graph which shows how your answers tallied with other voters in the poll.

Given the flexibility of the plugin, it’s setup is a little more complex than the others, but the results are more comprehensive. As yet, I haven’t discovered a means for linking an individual’s responses with an ID or means of contacting them.
